Missing Lee County boy found safe
An 11-year-old Lee County boy reported missing Thursday was found safe Friday, authorities said.

SANFORD, N.C. — An 11-year-old Lee County boy reported missing Thursday was found safe Friday, authorities said.
Jayden Zavier Gordell Johnson's father reported him missing from their Sanford home, at 773 Black Road, at about 4 p.m. Thursday.
A woman who lives on Eaker Road in Cameron called the Lee County Sheriff's Office shortly after 11:30 a.m. Friday to report that someone was in her camper. Deputies responded and found Jayden inside safe and unharmed, authorities said.
The location was less than a mile and a half from his home.
Deputies returned Jayden to his family.
