KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — Update: Aleah Campbell was found safe, Knightdale officials said Saturday morning.

Knightdale police are searching for a 12-year-old girl who left home overnight, officials said Saturday.

Aleah Campbell left her home on Bridgedale Court shortly after midnight Saturday without her parents’ knowledge, officials said.

A source told WRAL News that Aleah left without her seizure medication.

Family members said they believe she left wearing a blue romper with flowers and a long black wig.

She is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds.

Runaways are excluded from North Carolina Amber Alerts.

Anyone with information about Aleah’s whereabouts can call the Knightdale Police Department at 919-217-2261.
