FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Silver Alert for a missing Fayetteville woman was canceled after she was found unharmed Wednesday.

An employee of the Suburban Mart, 2112 Murchison Road, called police and told them that Vanessa Easterling Moore, 41, was in her store around 5 p.m.

Moore was unharmed, and officers brought her home, police spokeswoman Theresa Chance said.

Moore told investigators that she needed to go out of town and had forgotten to tell anyone, Chance said.

An alert was issued Tuesday for 41-year-old Vanessa Easterling Moore, who suffers from manic depression, mental illness and high blood pressure. Her sister had last seen her on Friday.
