Missing Fayetteville Man Found

— A mentally challenged Fayetteville man who had been missing since Thursday was found safe on Saturday, authorities said.

Billy Thomas Cortese, 26, was located and returned home unharmed, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said early Saturday afternoon. Authorities did not release details about how Cortese was found.

Cortese, who has the mental capacity of an 8-year-old child, had last seen asleep in his bed by a family member early Thursday.
