A downed tree took out a power pole Monday morning at the intersection of Hillsborough Street and Park Avenue near downtown Raleigh. Hillsborough Street is currently closed at Hillcrest Road and also at Ashe Avenue. Drivers should take an alternate route to avoid traffic.

Durham police said Monday that a missing man has been found safe and unharmed in Shelby.

Chuckie Lee Craig, 39, had last been seen at his home on Bacon Street in Durham on May and was reported missing on June 2.

Police did not release more information about the circumstances of Craig's disappearance.
