<b>CLAYTON, N.C.</b> — A missing 17-year-old from Clayton was found safe in Cary this past weekend, Clayton police announced Monday.

Mark Alexander Linker, who was reported missing last Monday, had been staying with friends, police said.

The teen's family moved to Clayton two months ago, and police initially said they believed he might be with friends in the Cary area.
