Missing 3-year-old found safe, grandmother charged in case

Late Thursday evening, an Endangered Missing Child Alert was issued for 3-year-old Zella Linklater.

An ENDANGERED CHILD ALERT has been issued in the search for 3-year-old Zella Linklater. She was last seen this afternoon in the area of Bumblebee Lane in Chuckey, which is in Greene County.

A missing child from Greene County, Tennessee, which borders North Carolina, has been found.

Officials said 3-year-old Zella Linklater and her grandmother were found safe in the woods just before 3 p.m. on Nov 27.

Linklater's grandmother, Belinda Wilson, was charged with custodial interference and child neglect/endangerment in connection to the incident.

Before being located, Zinklater was last seen on Bumblee Lane in Chuckey, Tennessee.
