Minor injuries after school bus crashes in Johnston County
A Johnston County school bus crashed Friday morning on Covered Bridge Road and Murphy Drive near the Archer Lodge Fire Department.
Posted — UpdatedOfficials said the bus was headed for Corinth Holders High School with 13 students on board. One student was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries, and the bus driver was transported due to neck pain.
Johnston County Public Schools were under a two-hour delay on Friday but did not close like other schools in the viewing area. Officials said the crash did not appear to be weather-related or the fault of the bus driver.
At least two other cars appeared to be involved.
