MY BROTHER WASHED DISHES AS A 16 YEAR-OLD AND WORKED SIDE BY SIDE BY A MAN NAMED MILTON POPPADOPPALIST AND MY BROTHER CAME HERE 40 YEARS AGO AND STARTED THE NORTH RALEIGH LOCATION AND HAS BEEN IN OUR BLOOD FOR ALL OF THESE YEARS. WHAT WE ARE KNOWN FOR IS OUR GREEK STYLE AND UNIQUE STYLE PIZZA. OUR MENU IS PRETTY DIVERSE ACTUALLY FOR AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT. OF COURSE YOU WILL GET YOUR TYPICAL ITALIAN DISHES BUT CAN GET A BURGER AND THEY ARE GREAT AND OUR PHILLY STYLE WINGS AND CHEESECAKE AND ALL KINDS OF THINGS AND WHAT WE ARE PROUD OF WE DO EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH. THE RECIPES THAT WE USE HAVE BEEN IN USE FOR OVER 50 YEARS. OUR SAUCES AND OUR PIZZA DOUGH. EVERYTHING IS DONE FROM SCRATCH. >> SO MILTON'S HAS BEEN VERY COMMUNITY ORIENTED. ALWAYS BEEN VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY AND WARM. AND JUST A FUN VIBE. WE LOVE WHAT WE DO AND THAT'S THE KIND OF PEOPLE THAT WE LOOK FOR. WE ACTUALLY HAVE 157 STAFF MEMBERS AND WE CALL THEM THE BEST STAFF ON THE PLANET. IT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT WE JUST SAY. WE GENUINELY MEAN IT AND HAVE IT PRINTED ON THE PIZZA BOXES AND THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. THEY HAVE BEEN HERE FOR US THROUGH THICK AND THIN. COVID HAS BEEN BEEN A JOURNEY FOR US AT THE RESTAURANT. WHEN IT FIRST HIT, WE REALIZED WE HAD TO TAKE THE SAME WARM FRIENDLY SERVICE AND THE GREAT FOOD OUT TO THE CURB SIDE AND SERVE OUR GUESTS AND THAT WAS SUPER HEART WARMING AND WONDERFUL TO SEE THE GUESTS COMING THROUGH AND WE ADJUSTED AND CREATED A WHOLE NEW MODEL. WE HAVE JUST HAD TO BE INNOVATIVE AND FIND WAYS TO MAKE IT WORK FOR THE GUESTS AND FOR OURSELVES. SO WE CREATED THIS OUTSIDE SEATING PATIO ON THE FLY. MY SON ACTUALLY CAME OUT AND HELPED TO BUILD IT AND SO MANY OTHER, THE STAFF AND VOLUNTEERED THEIR TIME AND PUT PICNIC TABLES UP AND ANOTHER COMMUNITY EFFORT. WE HAVE THIS CUTE PATIO NOW. WE HAVE EXPANDED. WE HAD TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO MEET OUR GUESTS WHERE THEY ARE. WE CAME UP WITH AN IDEA TO GO IN THE COMMUNITY. BUSINESSES LIKE MILTON'S ARE CREATIVE AND BRINGING MEALS TO FAMILIES WHERE THEY DON'T HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DINE IN BUT THEY CAN MAKE IT CONVENIENT AND WE ARE PROVIDING A DESTINATION WITH THE PARKING LOT FOR FOLKS TO PICK UP THEIR DINNERS TO STILL HAVE THE EXPERIENCE. >> THEY HAVE BEEN SERVING US FOR ALMOST 40 YEARS. <p>Hi, everyone. Meteorologist Anthony Baglione here on this Friday where we're still looking at some relatively warm temperatures into this afternoon. 83 is where we should hit for a high temperature. Nice and quiet for us until we get later on into late this afternoon into this evening where we're gonna watch the potential for some showers and storms coming through. Not a ton of activity for us as we head later on into tonight. There's a look at rain chances though. They go up to about 50% as we head into that evening time frame. So if you have any plans tonight, if you want to go out and get a Friday evening dinner or something like that, it might be a good idea to a, get the indoor table and then b bring along the reindeer just in case tonight. Here's a look at Future cast. So we time this out looking pretty quiet here the next couple of hours that band back to our west, it should start to weaken as it gets closer to us. It may try and restrengthen them as we get into. Like there's four o'clock you can see on Futurecast 56 o'clock or so, some of those storms could be on the stronger side and then it pushes out of here as we get later on into tonight and then we see maybe a stray shower potential still outline for tomorrow morning. Here's a look at our severe potential today. Level one out of five for most of the viewing area. What this is saying is there could be some isolated pockets where we get some stronger storms. It looks like the best chances for that would be west of us. But gusty winds would be our primary threat as we get into this evening. 78 is where we go for our Saturday. A huge temperature swing there into Sunday at 59 scattered showers are gonna be likely though, especially Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening, they do start to taper off though late Sunday night. So for the Tar Heel 10 miler, that's tomorrow morning, we are proud partners of that. We're going to see temperatures in the sixties for the majority of the forecast there. A stray showers possible, but most of the morning is looking just fine for that event. Tomorrow. We head over the next seven. We go from 83 today all the way down to 59 on Sunday. A rebound of 66 on Monday and then a nice week next week attempts in the seventies, even a few upper sixties there Thursday looking pretty quiet after we get some rainfall there to close out our weekend.</p>
