Micro Commissioner Faces Assault Charge

Micro, N.C. — Town Commissioner Laura Grady was issued a summons Tuesday for simple assault in connection with a Monday altercation, police said.

Police said Grady and her mother were involved in a domestic dispute Monday evening.

Grady is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 1.
