Mia Francesca, the restaurant that recently opened up in Raleigh's North Hills, has launched a new "Eat and Earn" program to support local nonprofits.

Participating groups can organize pre-set nights for their groups to dine at the restaurant. Mia Francesca will donate 15 percent of the dinner bill to the organization. The program began at the restaurant's Chicago locations in 2008 and is now a national effort. Chicago area restaurants have recently supported groups that work with kids with autism, kids with other disabilities, people with HIV/AIDS, veterans and more.

“We feel it’s important to embrace and connect to our community in a deeper way; ‘Eat and Earn’ is a fun and very effective way to do that,” said Adam Moore, general manager of the Raleigh location.

Mia Francesca is open daily for lunch and dinner. For more information about the “Eat and Earn” program, contact Mia Francesca directly at 919-278-1525.

It sounds like another fun option for a fundraiser for a PTA and many other groups.
