Metropolitan Opera streaming free opera every evening starting March 16
The Metropolitan Opera is streaming free encore opera performances starting March 16.

The Metropolitan Opera has canceled all upcoming performances because of coronavirus concerns. While the Met is closed, they will be streaming encore presentations from the Live in HD series on the company website starting March 16.
According to their website, the opera streams will begin at 7:30 pm each night and will be available to view at metopera.org for 20 hours after each performance.
Bizet’s Carmen is the first opera on the schedule and will be streaming on Monday, March 16.
