Parents can now enroll their kids in Meredith College's Wings After School program for fall 2019.

The Wings After School Program, located on Meredith’s campus, provides activities and support through tutoring, homework assistance, and active lessons, according to a press release. The program is staffed by a director, assistant director, student workers and student volunteers.

The program, which operates from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays, is open to children age 5 to 12 for a cost of $175 per month. Drop-off care is available for $25 per day. The program also offers some limited transportation options to Meredith.

For more information, contact the director at wingsafterschool@meredith.edu or visit Meredith's website. Limited spaces are also available for the remaining weeks of the current academic year.
Meredith also offers some great summer programs for children in first through eighth grade. Programs are open to students with an interest in science, technology, engineering, math, Spanish, and the visual and performing arts.
And Meredith’s Avenging Angels Athletics offer summer camps in sports including basketball and lacrosse. (More sports may be added. My kids have really enjoyed the soccer camp at Meredith for many years.)

Meredith is in Raleigh on Hillsborough Street near NC State's campus.
