Meredith College launches new after school program
Meredith College is launching a new after school program for kids this fall.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Meredith College is launching a new after school program for kids this fall.
Meredith's news director tells me that while the program is intended to support students in Meredith's Wings adult education program, the after school program also is open to the general public.
Some details:
- The program is open 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays.
- It's open for kids ages 5 to 12.
- The cost will be $175 per month.
- Parents will need to provide transportation.
During those three hours, the program will provide activities and support for the kids through tutoring, homework assistance and active lessons.
