Men sought in year-old Durham slaying

Durham police on Tuesday released photos of three men they believe might have information about the year-old slaying of a 29-year-old man.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police on Tuesday released photos of three men they believe might have information about the year-old slaying of a 29-year-old man.

Kenneth Ray Lyon Jr. was shot in the back inside his apartment at 2112 Broad St. around 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 21, 2009, police said. He died of his injuries a day later.

Investigators said the men in the released photos are not suspects, but police want to talk to them about the case. Investigators have also identified a vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting.
