Men sought in two Fayetteville shootings

Police said Monday that they have identified suspects in two Fayetteville shootings, and they asked for the public's help to apprehend them.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police said Monday that they have identified suspects in two Fayetteville shootings, and they asked for the public's help to apprehend them.

Ricky Lavelle Martin Jr., 23, of Fayetteville, is wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection with a shooting at a gas station at 1913 Ramsey St. on March 10.

Jerome Wayne Jones Jr., 21, of Deepwood Drive in Fayetteville, is wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill in connection with an Oct. 31 shooting near the intersection of Branson and Bryan streets.
