Meet this mom: Tamira Cox shares secrets for juggling motherhood, marriage and business
Balancing motherhood, marriage, and a booming business - Tamira, a Raleigh entrepreneur, reveals her practical tips for juggling diverse roles and thriving in all aspects of life.
Posted — UpdatedMy name is Tamira Cox. I am originally from Washington, D.C. but currently reside in Raleigh, NC.
I am a wife of 8 years to my husband, Carlon, and we have three beautiful children: Taliyah (13), who loves to crochet and anything K-POP; Carson (8), who enjoys football; and Aria (5), who loves to color and play basketball.
I was in school studying communications and television production. While in school, I landed a job as a radio personality at Foxy99 in Fayetteville. I enjoyed my experience as a radio host, but I relocated to Raleigh.. Moving here is where I discovered a newfound hobby and passion in which I turned into a business - a photography and photobooth called TamirajPhotobooth.
My favorite activities with my family are having a backyard BBQ and going on family vacations.
I am passionate about creating content, whether it's music, photography editing, or producing videos. I create content for my YouTube Channel, ForeverMiraj. I vlog my life as a mom and create lifestyle and celebrity news content.
I'm a work in progress, so I'm always learning from my children, but some things that they have taught me are unconditional love and patience, and they are always watching me, so I'm a great example to them.
We enjoy good food, so trying a new restaurant is a thing we love to do.
My favorite spots are HomeGoods because I love home décor and any good coffee spot.
Plan, set your goals and execute them.
Hire that cleaning service to clean the house, meal prep in advance, order groceries, and do pick up or delivery service; set a routine, and stick to it. Use that CROCKPOT and set those alarms to shut down everything so you can have time for yourself. This will help with balancing it all while putting more energy into things you love to do. And never be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
