Mebane man accused of concealing human remains

Michael Charles Dorman II, 32, of 1411 Sundown Drive, is charged with concealing or failing to report a death, according to an arrest warrant obtained at the Durham County Clerk of Court’s Office on Monday.

DURHAM, N.C. — A Mebane man is accused of concealing the remains of a woman.

Michael Charles Dorman II, 32, of 1411 Sundown Drive, is charged with concealing or failing to report a death, according to an arrest warrant obtained at the Durham County Clerk of Court’s Office on Monday.

Though Dorman is from Orange County, authorities said the crime occurred in the city of Durham.

Authorities have not released the identity of the woman whose remains were found.

Dorman was arrested on July 15.

He was being held under a $1 million bond in the Durham County jail on Monday.
