Massage parlor owner held under $1M bond on charge of promoting prostitution

A Winston-Salem woman was arrested last week in connection with human trafficking at massage parlors in Fayetteville and Durham.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Winston-Salem woman was arrested last week in connection with human trafficking at massage parlors in Fayetteville and Durham.

A group of law enforcement agencies cooperated to search Sunshine Studios, in the 200 block of Hope Hills Road in Fayetteville, Red Rose Studios, in the 7000 block of Cliffdale Road in Fayetteville, and Numi Day Spa, in Durham.

Angel Ming Lin, 46, the owner and operator of all three businesses, was arrested in Raleigh and charged with promotion of prostitution and keeping a place for prostitution.

Lin was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under $1 million secure bond.

Anybody with information on human trafficking is asked to call Fayetteville police at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
