Mark your calendars: Apex High School band plans fundraiser Nov. 10

The fundraiser on Nov. 10 will raise money to buy new instruments and support the band's performance in another county this spring.

Apex High School Marching Band will hold its first annual carnival and silent auction this weekend.

The event, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 10 at Apex High School, will feature inflatables, games, fair-style food and a performance from the band at 3:45 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for students at the door and free to parents, toddlers and teachers. You can pre-order tickets for $10 per student through the band's website. Click here for details.

Inflatables will be set up on the soccer field and games will be located in the school's senior parking lot. Silent auction items include Carolina Ballet tickets, Zipquest passes, museum passes, a ukelele and much more.

The money raised will be used to buy new instruments and support the band's performance in another county this spring.
