A Marine died early Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle while bicycling on Camp Lejeune, officials said.

<b>CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C.</b> — A Marine died early Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle while bicycling on Camp Lejeune, officials said.

The accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of N.C. Highway 172 and Hammocks Bay Road, officials said.

The name of the Marine hasn't been released.
