Marbles plans big events for 'Frozen 2' opening

The much anticipated "Frozen 2" comes out later this month, and the IMAX theater at Marbles Kids Museum has a lot of special activities planned.

The much anticipated "Frozen 2" comes out later this month, and the IMAX theater at Marbles Kids Museum has some special activities planned.

The movie will be on Marbles' giant IMAX screen from Nov. 21 to Dec. 12. Tickets are on sale now. During the run of the movie, Marbles will feature special Frozen themed play and activities.

Here's what's planned with descriptions courtesy of Marbles:

S’Moore Square Frozen 2 Party

Marbles is partnering with the City of Raleigh to bring Frozen fun to downtown. See Frozen 2 at Marbles IMAX then join our friends at Moore Square for s'mores and other games and activities in the park. It's 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Nov. 22.

Special Daily Play

Marbles is bringing Frozen fun inside with its own little Arendelle Village. Build with ice blocks, paint with ice, play with caribou, build a snowman and more Frozen activities. It runs Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.

The museum also has some slots open for its special Deluxe Frozen Birthday Party on Dec. 7. The $450 package includes admission to see the movie for 30 guests and 90 minutes inside a party room, including a guest appearance from a Frozen character.
