I'm a sucker for retro movies, which is apparently what we are calling the movies of my youth. We're talking about movies from the 1980s and 1990s.

And the IMAX theater at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh is planning a series showcasing some of my favorites. The Max Rewind Retro Movie series runs September through early November. Here's the line-up.
UPDATE: There is new pricing for this series. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for kids. If you want to see a movie and play in the museum, tickets are $10 for kids and $13 for adults.

I definitely hope to catch "The Princess Bride," my all-time favorite movie, with my nine-year-old.
