As part of the reopening, the theater will

- Require that tickets are purchased in advance for all documentaries and feature films.
- Limit showtimes to only Fridays through Sundays.
- Require all guests age 5 and older to wear a CDC-approved face covering.
- Expand cleaning and sanitation efforts.
- Offer only 2D screenings, instead of 3D screenings, which require special glasses.
"Marbles is excited to welcome guests back to Raleigh’s only giant screen movie experience,” said Marbles VP of Hospitality Dale Wilson in the press release. “During the closure, we’ve made some great updates to facilitate a safe return to Marbles IMAX, including new cleaning practices and an advance ticketing system that enables pick-your-own-seat technology.”
