Man wanted in Rocky Mount homicide arrested in Baltimore

A man was arrested in Baltimore on Sunday for his connection to the Jan. 2 shooting death of a man in Rocky Mount, police said.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A murder suspect was arrested in Baltimore on Sunday after the Jan. 2 shooting death of a man in Rocky Mount, police said.

Travon Kierre Baker was arrested Sunday morning by the U.S. Marshalls Service and the Maryland State Police and charged with first-degree murder.

Rocky Mount police said Jonathan McCrory, 23, was shot to death early Thursday morning at a home at 900 Mashie Lane.

McCrory died after officers found him.
