Man wanted in Florida slaying arrested in Robbins

Orlando police contacted investigators with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office after learning that Albert Caulie Taylor was living in the Robbins area, authorities said. Moore County deputies arrested Taylor, 55, without incident at his 261 E. Plank Road home.

ROBBINS, N.C. — Moore County deputies on Wednesday arrested a man wanted in a 1995 slaying in Florida, authorities said.

Orlando police contacted investigators with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office after learning that Albert Caulie Taylor was living in the Robbins area, authorities said. Moore County deputies arrested Taylor, 55, without incident at his 261 E. Plank Road home.

Taylor was charged with a fugitive warrant for first-degree murder. He was being held without bond Wednesday in the Moore County jail, pending extradition to Florida.
