Man taken into custody after Raleigh foot chase
Authorities used a stun gun against a suspect to end a foot chase around Lake Wheeler Road and Interstate 440 in Raleigh Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities used a stun gun against a suspect to end a foot chase around Lake Wheeler Road and Interstate 440 in Raleigh Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
State troopers said the suspect was pulled over around 12:30 p.m. but ran because he had a suspended license.
The search involved Raleigh police officers, a state Highway Patrol helicopter and K-9 units, authorities said. The suspect was subdued and taken into custody near Rabbit Run and Sierra Drive.
The suspect's name and any charges he faces haven't been released.
