Man surrenders to police after nearly 8-hour standoff in Raleigh
U.S. Marshals were attempting to serve multiple warrants to man in Raleigh on Tuesday when he hid inside the Regency Apartment Complex for nearly 8 hours.

RALEIGH, N.C. — U.S. Marshals were attempting to serve multiple warrants to man in Raleigh on Tuesday when he hid inside the Regency Place Apartments for nearly 8 hours.
There was a heavy police presence in the neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon as officials tried to coax him outside.
Officials said the man was hiding in an attic in the complex.
The man peacefully surrendered Tuesday around 4 p.m.
Officials have not yet said who the man was or what he was being arrested for.
