Man stabbed, woman arrested after fight in Fayetteville

Fayetteville police say an argument led to a stabbing Saturday night in the parking lot of the 20/20 Food Mart, at 2112 Murchison Road.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police say an argument led to a stabbing Saturday night in the parking lot of the 20/20 Food Mart, at 2112 Murchison Road.

Investigators say a man was cut during the fight, which happened shortly before 11 p.m. He suffered a "severe wound" and was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in serious condition. His name will not be released until police can notify his family.

Police arrested a woman, but they did not release her name or any other information.
