RALEIGH, N.C. — One man was stabbed early Sunday after a fight at a Glenwood Avenue bar.

According to Raleigh officials, officers responded to Noir Bar and Lounge, located at 425 Glenwood Avenue, before 2:30 a.m.

Officials said the stabbing started as a bar fight and involved two people, including the stabbing victim.

The bar's assistant manager told WRAL News that "the victim was acting volatile with other patrons" and was escorted out of the bar and off the property. Police later notified Noir that the man had been stabbed after the bar had closed for the night.

"We have a very strict code of conduct for our members and every individual is thoroughly searched before entering the premise," the assistant manager told WRAL. "We take every precaution to ensure the safety of our members but unfortunately cannot control what happens off our premises."

The man's injuries were minor and mostly superficial, according to officials.

No one has been charged in the stabbing.
