ROLLING FORK, Miss. (AP) — Powerful tornadoes tore through parts of the Deep South on Friday night, killing at least 23 people in Mississippi, obliterating dozens of buildings and leaving an especially devastating mark on a rural town whose mayor declared, “My city is gone.”

Wake Forest police are searching for a man who robbed a Walmart Money Center on Friday evening and ran away.

<b>WAKE FOREST, N.C.</b> — Wake Forest police are searching for a man who robbed a Walmart Money Center on Friday evening and ran away.

The robbery happened at about 6:45 p.m. at the store, at 2114 S. Main St.
