<b>WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.</b> — A man was shot standing by an ATM in Winston-Salem early Friday morning, according to police.

Harvey Pitts, 57, from Winston-Salem, was shot in the torso while he was at the Cash Points in the Northside Shopping Center on North Patterson Avenue at around 2 a.m.

He was driven home from the shopping center by someone and then he called the police.

Pitts was taken to the hospital where he was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
