Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Robbery was likely the motive in the shooting of a man in Raleigh apartment complex Tuesday evening, police said.
Rigoberto Rivera, 47, of Raleigh, was shot shortly before 6:15 p.m. in the parking lot at Quail Ridge Apartments, 1401 E. Millbrook Road.
Rivera was wounded in the shoulder but was expected to be OK, police said. He was taken to WakeMed.
No arrests have been made.
