A man was shot and killed Saturday outside a Little Caesar's Pizza in Smithfield.



<b>SMITHFIELD, N.C.</b> — A man was shot and killed Saturday outside a Little Caesar's Pizza in Smithfield.

According to the Smithfield Police Department, around 3 a.m., officers responded to the business at 202 N. Brightleaf Blvd.

Tyler Jordan Davis, 30, Princeton, was found dead behind the Little Caesar's, police said.

Lamore Thomas, 22, of Selma, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

Thomas was being held without bond in the Johnston County Jail.

A first court appearance was scheduled for Monday.
