1 charged after man shot, killed in Raleigh Boulevard shooting

A man has been charged after one person was shot and killed in Raleigh on Thursday, July 1, according to police.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man has been charged after one person was shot and killed in Raleigh on Thursday, July 1, according to police.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at the 400 block of Raleigh Boulevard.

Antonio Luis Quinones died from his injuries. Quinones was 26 years old.

On Friday, July 9, WRAL learned 27-year-old Darius Watson was charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with the case.

Darius Watson, 27, was charged with murder in connection with the death of Antonio Quinones.

Warrants connected Watson to the shooting.
