<b>WILSON, N.C.</b> — Wilson police are investigating a shooting in the 600 block of Cemetery Street that sent one man to the hospital.

Officers found Clarence Ravenell Jr. lying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound shortly after 2 a.m.

Ravenell was taken to Wilson Medical Center and then transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
