Man shot in southeast Raleigh

A 21-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in a southeast Raleigh street Friday night, police said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A 21-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in a southeast Raleigh street Friday night, police said.

Police said that Jeffrey Boyd was shot once in stomach outside in the 100 block of Star Street, between New Bern Avenue and Poole Road, around 10:45 p.m.

Boyd was transported to WakeMed. He was listed in fair condition.

No arrests have been made.
