Man shot in northeast Raleigh

— A man was shot early Tuesday morning off Spring Forest Road.

Around 2 a.m., officers with the Raleigh Police Department officers responded to the 5000 block of Sedgewick Drive in northeast Raleigh, close to Spring Forest Apartments and East Millbrook Middle School.

A man was shot and taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
