Man shot in Goldsboro
A 19-year-old man was shot while walking along the 300 block of South George Street around 9:45 p.m. Friday, Goldsboro police said.

Tyrone Jones told police that he ran to his house when an unidentified person began shooting at him. Once at home, Jones said, he realized he had been hit and called police.
Jones was treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital for a gunshot wound to the shoulder, police said.
Police have not made any arrests and continue to investigate.
