A man was shot on the 800 block of Amye Street at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A man was shot on the 800 block of Amye Street at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The shooting happened after an altercation outside a home, police said.

The victim was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in serious condition.
