<b>CHAPEL HILL, N.C.</b> — A man was shot Wednesday night in Chapel Hill.

Around 11 p.m., officers with the Chapel Hill Police Department responded to a shooting at 1751 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

One male victim was transported to UNC Hospitals with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police believe this is an isolated incident and do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.

This is an active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

If anyone has information concerning this incident, they are asked to call 911 immediately.
