A 20-year-old Spring Lake man shot himself in front of a Fayetteville police building Thursday morning, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 20-year-old Spring Lake man shot himself in front of a Fayetteville police building Thursday morning, police said.

The shooting occurred outside the Fayetteville Police Administrative Building, 467 Hay St., shortly before 6 a.m.

The victim was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. An update on his condition wasn't available.
