Man's body found floating in Cape Fear River
A body was found floating in the Cape Fear River in Fayetteville on Tuesday night.

Police reported finding a person, who appeared to be male, just before 8 p.m. near the Person Street bridge. There were no obvious signs of trauma on the body.
The fire department responded and got the body out from the river. A black Ford Mustang was found near the river, with the keys inside.
The body is being sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
