Man recovering after being shot Friday night in Rocky Mount

Rocky Mount police said a man is recovering after he was shot Friday night.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Rocky Mount police said a man is recovering after he was shot Friday night.

Police responded to the McDonald's at 2640 Sunset Avenue in reference to a possible shooting. They found a man had been taken there after he was shot in the 800 block of East Grand Ave. The victim was then transported to the hospital. Rocky Mount police continue to investigate.
