A man was found shot to death in the 200 block of Pearl Street in Henderson early Saturday, police said. A 16-year-old was also wounded in the shooting.

<b>HENDERSON, N.C.</b> — A man was found shot to death in the 200 block of Pearl Street in Henderson early Saturday, police said.

Officers found the body of Dante Champion, 19, in the roadway near Lone Street around 2:15 a.m.

A 16-year-old who had been shot in the arm was found in a different location. Police determined he had been wounded in the same incident.

The teen, whose name wasn't released, was taken to a local hospital.

The investigation into the shooting was ongoing. No suspects have been named.
