Man killed in two-vehicle crash in Harnett County

A man was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Harnett County, troopers said.

SPRING LAKE, N.C. — A man was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Harnett County, troopers said.

According to the state Highway Patrol, a Dodge Stratus, driven by Connie Jane Dockery, and a Dodge Intrepid, driven by Brittany Deana Nash-Martin, collided at about 2:30 p.m. on N.C. Highway 210 near Mockingbird Lane, north of Spring Lake.

Jerry Dockery, 44 of Bunn Level, was killed in the crash, troopers said.  He was a passenger in the Dodge Stratus.

Connie Dockery, 53, of Bunn Level, and Nash-Martin, 19, of Fayetteville, were both treated for minor injuries and released from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

More details, including the cause of the crash and whether charges were filed, haven't been released.
