Man killed in shooting, Fayetteville police investigating

Fayetteville police were on the scene late Saturday of a shooting that killed a man on Saturday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police were on the scene late Saturday of a shooting that killed a man.

Police were called to an area of S.C. Street and McDaniel Street at around 10:21 p.m. to a report of shots fired. They found a man in the roadway of the 500 block of McDaniel Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound.

Detectives were still on the scene late Saturday and had no other information to report.
