Man killed in Raleigh house fire

One man was killed Friday night when fire erupted in a home in southeast Raleigh, officials said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — One man was killed Friday night when fire erupted in a home in southeast Raleigh, authorities said. 

Emergency crews responded to the fire at 1325 Londonderry Circle shortly after 10 p.m. and found Lawson William Terrell Jr., 78, dead inside the home. 

Authorities said the cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.

The exact cause of his death has not yet been determined, but authorities said no signs of foul play were found.
