Man killed in high-speed crash on Spring Forest Road in Raleigh
A male driver was killed early Saturday when his car was hit broadside by another car traveling too fast on Spring Forest Road in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man was killed early Saturday when his car was hit broadside by another car traveling too fast on Spring Forest Road in Raleigh.
Authorities said Tayler Nicole McElroy, 28, was speeding in her Audi and hit the Mitsubishi at the intersection of Spring Forest and Green.
McElroy was charged with DWI, felony death by vehicle and felony serious injury by vehicle.
Both McElroy and her passenger, who was not identified, were taken to WakeMed, but both were expected to recover from their injuries.
