Man killed in Fayetteville shooting
An unidentified man was shot and killed late Thursday in the area of Greensboro and Richard streets, Fayetteville police said.

Officers were called to the area at about 11:45 p.m., and investigators said the man was shot on Richard Street by an unknown suspect. The man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he died.
The man's name has not been released.
